If someone needs God in order to be good and civil then are they really good?
Blessed are those who are good without needing God as a reason.
If God is a crutch and without that crutch someone is bad then God is the sign of an innate ailment.
If good is a crutch then the crutch is good not the person.
Morality is a construct that exists and is required with or without a crutch.
The ideal that we are not moral in ourselves facilitates the ideal that we need to be controlled by others. This control by others is subject to the morality of others.
