What is Evangelism?

My view is that in today’s world we have been brainwashed into thinking that good is bad and bad is good therefore there are no rules/morals...there is no God....anything goes.However if there is such a thing as good and bad then the opposite is truth.Does our logic tell us that bad shouldn’t be accountable because if there is good and bad then God made us the way he made us and we have no SELF control and so we can’t be held responsible for all the bad we may have done? Is this even TRUE or are we just making excuses for ourselves?

If someone needs God in order to be good and civil then are they really good?

Blessed are those who are good without needing God as a reason.

If God is a crutch and without that crutch someone is bad then God is the sign of an innate ailment.

If good is a crutch then the crutch is good not the person.

Morality is a construct that exists and is required with or without a crutch.

The ideal that we are not moral in ourselves facilitates the ideal that we need to be controlled by others. This control by others is subject to the morality of others.

Babies are born with their eyes shut but we are still nearly all born with eyes...

It depends upon what standards one is comparing oneself with as to whether one considers oneself good or not.

Are you referring to the standards of the Bible?

Are the Bible's standards God's standards?

Those who wish to control others sure have used them to hate and that in itself is perhaps the very definition of evil...

The sole purpose of the Bible’s standards is to prove to every single individual throughout history that they can’t keep them perfectly.......nothing more and nothing less.Therefore the bible says that there is no one perfect and never has been...no NOT one.As God is perfection and he can’t let imperfection into his presence then man has a bit of a problem.

Well one does need to have a balanced mindset to get to grips with the 2 off internal reasonings. If one has one sided logic/reasonings then it's difficult to understand biblical wordings. Remember,its a FACT that no one can definitively prove whether God exists or not so keep your reasonings balanced.

Remember also that you are not these internal reasonings you just HAVE internal reasonings.

It's interesting to note also that Buddhism would argue that you are these 2 off internal reasonings therefore SELF does not exist.Buddhism has absolutely no definitive PROOF of this.

Yes, no one can prove if God exists but there is plenty of evidence to dispute a huge portion of the scriptures as being barbaric, homophobic, misogynistic, immoral and contrary to a wealth of proven science.

Which does not address any of the points issued. The chroniclers of Jesus, the canonical ones at least, clearly manipulated events to fit in with earlier prophecies. It's all second/third hand information anyway, not only is there deliberate misinformation but there's also an element of Chinese Whispers and exaggeration. We don't really know what Jesus said, if he even existed.

God only knows what 'points' you are talking about, but historians generally agree that 'Jesus' existed. They differ on the 'Only begotten Son of God' part.
