I think that's why I'm seeing a surgeon in the morning about a look and see approach.
My thoughts are with you Husker!
Update - Doc wants me to hold on for 6 months - very sure it is nothing, but if something call asap.
So, Husker, that's 2 Docs who say it's very likely nothing?
Advice:
Get a 2nd opinion about the biopsy. My professional opinion is that 6 months is too long a time to wait. I would like to see something in the area of 3 months.
L'k yep 2 docs
New Haven - I don't like poking the monkey. To me 6 months is not a long time.
Husker:
I tried to send you a PM, but for some reason it's not going through.
I tend to be very conservative in my approach to medical treatment. Thus I would suggest 3 months and not 6 months. As you are an otherwise healthy male, I'm sure you're fine and that the MDs are correct in their assessment of your condition.
If you're satisfied with your medical treatment, then that's all that's counts.
Be sure to do the follow-up, now, in 6 months and don't forget to check your chest daily, especially when you're in the shower. If the lump starts to feel like it's getting larger, see your MD.
