I'll be very interested in your reactions to new MOMA. Actually was only to the front door of the old one, closing, closed many years ago. The Cooper Hewitt would interest me too, pant pant.

Osso--

You will be with us in spirit.

EhBeth--

I'm game for MOMA, too.

but is MOMA game for Noddy?

:wink:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this is going to be differently wonderful from the April adventure - having more than a few hours with Noddy to begin with - having enough time to really see Museum Mile - having a surprise or two up my sleeve
I promise not to point. If I talk about the Emperor's New Clothes, I'll do so in a cultivated murmur. I will giggle only if I have no other option.
it's that cultivated murmur that makes me just a tiny bit nervous
EhBeth--
Cross my heart and hope to die.
Besides, I'll take care of my own bail.
which reminded me ...
of two things.
The idea of getting a pedicure while in New York, and the notion that we'll be there just before Halloween - and that there should be some opportunity to wear a mask that weekend.
<mulling - would Noddy be offended if I bought her that wild cane I saw at the Home Health Care Centre last weekend?>
Umm,
I don't know how to say this exactly...
Without bringing out the wrath of the "tornado"
But I will be in Essex Co. NJ , a mere 14 miles from NYC, the weekend when everyone will be there.
Family obligations may not leave time for a meetup.
I will see what I can do.
You know I love y'all...right ?
Oooh, neat!
And Noddy, nods to a good bourbon club member.
However, tonight I had something a little odd (cleaning out my refrigerator.. ) First of all, lots of bottled Apollonaris water, which isn't so odd. But then I had some limoncello on ice. Not very much as I am not interested in reverse peristalsis from sweet drinks. Limoncello is extremely delicious in tiny amounts.
We'd all love to see ya.
Not sure where in Essex Co you will be, but the train ride into town is quick...and easy to work out.
If you think for a second you'd be able to come in...I can work out a train schedule for you....and I'll even meet ya and escort you to wherever the group will meet.
