Glamour....elegance....sophistication and technology all (parenthetically) packaged.

Ah, the bright lights...the high life...the characteristic punctuation....

well, lessee - when you were in l'hopital, and I was trying to reach Lola - I discovered that the numbers you'd given me back in April led to places/people unknown. Shocked Hi, err, J/Lola? no? sorry. Shocked Hi, err, J/Lola? no? sorry. Shocked Hi, ummm, J/Lola? no? really? sorry.

luckily I had Lola's cell # written on a piece of paper that I'd managed NOT to lose.

after the great address adventure, I was a bit suspicious Confused

We shall pass on all our true and relevant phone numbers and addresses, I swear it.

By the by...just this morning I bumped into a bit on Newman's book on Mulroney. My heart soared like an eagle.

Andy Barrie, of the locked-out CBC employees gang <broadcasting through CIUT - check it out online>, interviewed Mr. Newman this morning. Fascinating.

Even better (?), Mulroney has not denied the truth of anything in the book.

... click ...loving the locked-out CBC employees - they've got no monitors <grin>

Well...you certainly can call me Frankie.

And as for the walk-abouts...you might no want to tackle some of the treks I take. I often walk over a hundred blocks at a time.

Wait a minute. You booked that place near Gramercy Park and they're telling you it's walking distance to the Staten Island Ferry dock? I must be confused here. It is NOT walking distance to the Staten Island Ferry dock. Of course, you could walk it, I guess, but it's not just a quick little stroll, if that's what you're thinking...

it sure was walking distance

a fabulous walk - worthy of its own blog page

He he he...are you a punk rocker? I just found out that the New York Dolls are playing on April 28 and 29. And I think they're playing at a place that is right in the neighborhood where you are staying.

I stayed across the street from Irving Plaza - and saw the fellas and their devoted fans. <didn't you find a flyer for that show?>

EhBeth does not stroll, neither does she saunter.

EhBeth in full stride is as implacable as sunrise, moving with enthusiastic grandure down mean streets, along shopping precincts and through the historic glory of the city.

In conversation she is formidable. Set in motion, she is divine.

She walks.

Noddy - we will wander and talk.

Lola - I still owe you a Friday afternoon MOMA trip.

I can't get a room at my beloved SIHNYC, so I'm looking into some interesting craigslist options. The internet is an interesting place.

EhBeth--

How do you feel about science fiction warp and weft?

I've made two NYC jaunts with that exhibit in mind and third time's the charm.
