I love Noddy's shirt, and everyone looks great. Is that Frank Apisa with you, Beth?

For our fourth crossing of the harbour on Friday morning, we were on the John J Marchi

Yup - we were in the southwest corner - by the phone booth where the cops stash their belongings.

It's a great city. Way too much to cover off in 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 visits. We didn't manage to get to my magician friend's practice night this trip. Next time.

~~~~~~~
Walter didn't let us get too close to Penny. Photos from a polite distance were allowed.
Glad you found your grey cord, ehBeth.... I was getting ready to UPS mine to you - but, it's black and probably wouldn't have worked.... Very Happy
Thanks for the great photos.
Walter did a great service by bringing so many A2Kers together in Chicago, Boston, and New York!
Letty--
Thanks.
I'm actually wearing three different shirts: red, navy and light blue. The sleeves are all busy-busy and the necks are all busy-busy, but here are some solid colors.
i'm sure walter knows that fire boats always provide a "welcome spray " to visiting dignitaries - particularly when they come from oil-rich canada !
Walter und hamburger,
I'm sure you both are aware that the color RED is a sign of FIRE. Her hair probably set off alarms all across the city.
Shocked
There is a great view of lower Manhattan from Governor's Island. A Staten Island ferry is approaching its dock (the modern-looking facility in the front centre). The Governor's Island ferry dock is to the right. The little black specks in front of, and to the right of, the ferry are kayakers.
The entrance to Castle William on Governor's Island. It's a twin to Castle Clinton in Battery Park.
