Walter, Glad you made it home ok. Thanks for the pics. Good to see those faces again.
I know quite a few arte missing Lola.
I don't know how her legs came in the bar in Joe Nation's neighbourhood.
mac11 is almost as beautiful in the photos as she is in person.
(is my hair really that orange right now
?)
Is that Roberta on my left? I know all the rest, and ehBeth, your hair is lovely in any shade.
Great pictures, Walter, as usual. I'm going back and forth from New York to Boston.
I love the power confab at the top of this page.
Mac is looking lovely indeed. You're looking more and more like one of my favorite members of E.G.'s family... same hairstyle, same glasses, very similar smile.
I like the ehBeth hair! About the longest I remember seeing on her, it's purty. I like the streaks.
Hopefully not in NYC.
Great pics so far. Love seeing mac, noddy, and ehbeth. I almost didn't recognize Joe (man he's looking good) Nation and Frank looks as good as ever.
Is that Roberta with the glass of milk sitting across from Noddy?
Glass of milk is mac11 - good mac!!
I believe the Empress and Roberta put the ix-nay on any photos being posted. BrendaLee and I had put a partial ix-nay on <shrug>.
I seem to be the only one posing in these pictures. I don't know what that's about. (Maybe I was paying more attention to Walter? I know, it's that intimidating lens! That's it!)
Soz, wouldn't it be bizarre if I were related to E.G.?
bethie, your hair is not that red. It's the light, definitely.
I agree with Mac, Beth. You're hair ain't that red. Some kinda weird cameral lense filter thingie.
Wheee! Somehow I didn't realize that this was happening now - or happened already! Love the pix. Took a while to 'get' who that young guy was (Joe<you look great!>nation).
One week ago today we'd finished two round trips on the Staten Island ferry (Lady Liberty & All) and were trying to sample a bit of the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian (NYC outpost). I felt some of the contemporary pieces were strident enough to qualify as propaganda rather than art, but the Canadians felt the Indians had earned the right to loud outrage.
We spent only about an hour there, but even so I was suffering from both sensory and cultural overload. So much to see, so little time.
We met up with Walter outside Penn Station.
Lunch at a Nathan's across from Madison Square Garden was mediocre, but the chairs were lovely and the air conditioning was lovely and the company was delightful.
Fortified and refreshed, the Canadians led the trek to Bryant Park--where most of the pictures were taken and then Georgios were we met up with Mac and Roberta.
Okay, mister. Hands against the wall. Who are you, and what have you done with my friend Joe?
Chatting with msolga, I had an Insight:
Photographs of A2K have the same sort of charm as family photographs because you know everyone in the pictures.
you'd be in the pile of things ehBeth had considered taking to New York, but decided against
yay! More pics coming!!!!
