Now here is a little item that will cut your bagels without worrying about mixing your blood in with the cream cheese.

It also seems to work in well with the Marie Antionette theme!

Okay I'm packing today, and will fly to America tomorrow.

I get a car in Newark NJ and drive to Tunkannock Penn and later Norwalk Ct via a diner near Highway 80, to make the acquaintance of Noddy24. Hope to see some of New England in reasonable weather. On 6th November I hope to be as far as NYC, there to meet with Bernie and Lola.

Looking forward to my trip and to meeting quite a few others of you

Wish me luck

McT

"New England in reasonable weather" -- an oxymoron if ever there was one.

Are you sure you guys are taking this seriously enough? Next, you'll be telling me that there's no red carpet at the airport and you've cancelled the 21-gun salute.

McTag--

The diner will probably hang the Christmas lights early in your honor.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Thanks Noddy and all- now I'm off to the airport in one hour.

I was last in the USA in the year 2000, so I'm not a frequent visitor.

Just don't let it snow on my parade, okay?

Now, where did I put that stetson....

Mctag got to the airport in plenty time and then was told there was no seat - it was fully booked! How do these airlines get away with it?

Any way he was given a boarding card and told to go down to the gate as a seat may come available. On the basis that he has not rung me I guess and am hoping that he got on board and is nearly there.

I feel very sad I am not with him but there we go ..... or don't as the case may be. Looking forward to any postings of sightings of the Mctag abroad.

That's certainly annoying for him (and you too, Fiona).

Well, that's really more than annoying!

(The plane actually landed on 12:05PM local time.)

Yes, I did understate it!

I am wondering about flight confirmation. We used to do it, but I'd understood one doesn't have to any more..

Hello, fionab, pleased to meet you. Is there any species of misbehavior you'd have me police while he's here?

You're not missing anything, Fiona. After all it's just New York.

Well good to hear the plane landed but the question on the lips of the nation is, " Was Mctag on it?"

Pleased to meet you too Blatham. Just tell me everything!

I gave strict instructions to call me on his arrival but I had to go out unexpectedly and so may have missed the call so if any of you catch sight of him tell him to call!!

Too tired to see the screen so till tomorrow......
