oooh, dag - you're going to love belly-dancing. it's a fab work-out AND you get to wear sparkly things and dramatic makeup

I need to go back down to Broadway just north of Canal Street as a couple of the vendors there have great coin belts and the layered scarf/skirts.

You cannot box any more? You could have been a contender!

Trying to imagine what that statement sounds like with a Scottish accent.

One day, I think we all ought to insist that bethie and dag and whomever else they recruit put on a belly dancing performance for the rest of us.

One bit of unfortunate news...joe won't be able to join us here for the Nov election. He's another fellow I'd very much like to meet. So, I guess that will wait for another opportunity.

I've just bumped into an obscure photograph of Gus from his passionate middle years...

Puh-leeze. I must be naive and unworldly. I was pretty sure BL, like me, would like to meet most folks.

I asked myself McTag's question. I think Blatham and JoeNation have met
but I'm not positive. I haven't read every post of this thread, nor caught if Joe Nation was interested in the election evening, which is also none of my business.

I've met Blatham and I've met JoefromChicago, like both of them a lot. Would be amused to be a fly on the wall if they'd meet --- different personalities. Haven't met Joe Nation. Well, I'd pay attention to him even if he was off in space near Isla Mujeres..

Yes, Joe held mine and Blatham's hats while we kicked Frank as he lay on the sidewalk.

False report. JoeNation held dys' hat for the gratifying kicks while I held Lola's stole.

Are you suggesting, madam, that I am not utterly careful in thought and word, succinct in my speech, and witty as all get out?
