hey dys
We came out your way for an election. You two owe us. How about it?
Just checking in.
I'm not really any further forward with my plans, but I want to see a friend in Pennsylvania if I can so that will involve a car hire. Also, my brother's friend Simon goes to NY once a year and he is going to get me some information.
Later, I will trouble you for directions.
Will Joe Nation really be there? I want to get his autograph.

I'm telling you right now, blatham, that Dys is going to chicken out. He and I just didn't get along in London -- the only light moments, really, were the ones when we both trash-talked about you.

I'll tie myself naked to a bare wall. You can sit on the sofa, drink beer and throw stuff.

Anything we can do for you here? We can certainly offer a bed to you and thomas (and dys and dianne) and I'm sure the four of you can fit on it.

Can we say "resolute" too, or would that be too cruel?

You'd be asked to leave. I would refuse to allow myself to be degraded in such a manner.

I wonder if I can afford a second trip.

I'm sure of it. What were you thinking of throwing?
Once nimh finishes his sewing project

I could throw a couple horizontal and vertical shimmies yer way. Mebbe a glide or two. The torso lift is still a work in progress.
With all of that coming, something is just bound to hit home.
Class tonight.
Film in a decade.
After today's activity at Heathrow and elsewhere, there should be plenty of places available on flights.
Must check my visa, to see if it's still walid.
England must have been tense today, McTag. Everything okay?
Yes thanks, the airports are getting back to normal now, only with increased security and some special new measures (No handbags, no hand luggage of any kind except for items carried in a clear plastic bag, no drinks bottles or flasks, etc)
That's good, my fellow travellers always have too much cabin luggage anyway.
My USA visa is good till 2010, I checked- but it's in an old, cancelled, passport. Does that matter, do you think?

Funny that you asked me. I work for a U.S. federal government agency. However, my agency does not have any jurisdiction in this matter. If it were up to me.............
McTag--
I'd guess that the Visa is still valid, even if you have to renew your passport--after all, international bureaucrats don't talk to each other.
Why not call and ask? I'm sure the bureaucrats would appreciate a "normal" question.
The response from all those New Yorkers to our proposed visit has been...well....what can I say?....Underwhelming.
With one or two honourable exceptions, of course.
Maybe vacation time intrudes. Maybe nobody cares. But if we can make it there, we'll surely make it ....anywhere.
Start spreadin' the news
I'm leaving today
I wanna be a part of it
New York, New York....
