McTag--

November is a long, long way away--and I'm dependent on a politically active hostess.

Nonetheless Election Day Evening is a possibility--and I'm excited about your forthcoming invasion.

Of course I haven't lived in NYC for 40 years--and much of my two year stay was spent at the benches around the 103rd Street sandbox in Riverside Park.

Still, I'm all atwitter with enthusiasm.

Thanks for considering me also. From what I have read, Thomas is coming November 3-11, you and Lola are having an election day party on November 7. This all sounds too good to pass up. This election will be interesting if it changes the configuration of U.S. Congress. (a little joke: my wife is chinese and every november talks to me about "erection day")

I may not know until October whether I will be able to make the relatively short trip. I will keep watching this thread.

Thanks again!

It would be great to have you. Apparently your wife agrees.

At our age, nothing is a long way away except that stuff over our shoulder.

Because of the demands of dialysis, Sturgis has moved from Vermont to NYC and might appreciate an Election Night invitation.
