Why thank you, that is mighty nice of you.

I was not planning to be in NYC until I saw you were having a party, and although I am not Irish, the Scots are nearly as convivial, and just as willing to travel a fair distance for a hooley.

It is 5 or 6 years since I was in NYC, and I think the time might be ripe for another visit.

Our home would be honored. We would put out a silver platter of CheeseNips and open up a spot in the closet for beer you would, by prior notarized contract, provide. We'd offer a bevy of dancing girls, or in their place, perhaps a dancing frankapisa and joenation. We'd do it up right for folks of the quality of yourself and thomas.

I was tempted to chorus "We are not worthy!" until I realised I can't speak for Thomas.

Mrs McT is quite willing for me to go, so we'll see what I can arrange.

Bernie thats really kind of you and we would love to come over BUT initial euphoria has given way to harsh realities...7th is a problem. Thought at first it co incided with 1/2 term week but sadly no. (Mrs S is still teaching). Of course if you could use your influence and change the date of the election....

Not so much. I'll be there with a group of a dozen+ foodies from another web-forum - the time's been booked for about 6 months now.
