Someone I know has chronic Hepatitis C.
I understand it's incurable but don't know the symptoms. Can anyone enlighten me what can be expected?

In very simple terms, it's a virus that attacks the liver. A combination of drugs (Interferon and ribavirin) rids somewhere between 1/2 to 4/5th of people of the virus but some may end up needing liver transplants.
This is a big change in just the last few years. It used to be an almost certian killer.
Your friend wont be doin much drinkin anymore

And, Instigate, to my best knowledge he's not been a drinker. And he certainly won't be in the future!
