I love my job I love my life, you see they are intertwined. I live and work at a Field centre in deepest darkest Surrey England with the love of my life my girlfriend Helen and our pets Chloe, Tiger & Claude (Dog, cat House rabbit) My job entails fixing things, I'm a maintenance assistant and I look after 12 wooden buildings that are 60 odd years old, they were build before the war as the governments fresh air act for the youth of the city's but the war came along and evacuees moved in for the 5 years of war. The site is now used as an educational field centre for kids of any age to learn about the country side. I have a varied job, some days I'm doing a spot of plumbing, some days I'm doing a spot of electrical work, other days I'm making wooden signs using my router.
I love my job I love my life, and I'm grateful for each and every minute of it.
and that's the way it should be M8. Might I add that you have found what most people spend a lifetime seeking.
From this Yank to a Brit, salute.
Me too. And almost stunned to find a serious post from Lenny. Glad there's a real post behind all the good jokes.
