Back to "Life at Home."

I have a washer & dryer in my place, which I include in the rent for my roomates.

One dude uses it almost every f'n day(he works in a restaurant, so that's somewhat understandable). But he'll use it for a TINY load. For example, today he washed the kitchen cloths. About 5 of them.

This isn't normal, is it? I usually let my laundry build up until it's pretty much a full load.

I want to say something to him, but don't want to be a complete dick. Probably just tell him not to use it to wash 5 cloths, or something that small. I'm pretty sure the electrical bill has spiked since he's moved int.

Are you paying for water as well?? That's wasteful and I would tell him starting out with "I hate to sound like a complete dick but..."

Laundry size and frequency depends on what the items are for me.

Some things get washed often, in small loads. Other things wait til there are almost full loads of similar colours and fabric weight.

We now separate laundry into darks, whites, and pinks. Embarrassed

I'd blame sozlet but it's my stuff too.

5 washcloths is ridiculous. Is that all you own, like there weren't any clean ones? Still seems like there would have to be other stuff that could be tossed in there, too.

i do prefer to wash the cleaning rags in a small load, slappy. Otherwise, my loads are prolly too big.

A small load isn't 5 f'n rags in my mind though. I'd rather just throw them in with towels or sheets. I don't actually care, I'll throw them in with my clothes.

Plus I cleaned my place like it was my job yesterday. Had the latex gloves on and everything. A machine. I have to put something into place, either get a housekeeper or set up chores. Except I don't think these guys would actually do them, and if they did they'd do a shitty job.

She's talking about how so-and-so at work told her to stop coughing all over his office as she's coughing all over our kitchen counter.

Syn - good idea. But, I do like her and she's already upset that everyone at work thinks she going to get them sick. Heehee...... How do you deal with that?
