Hehehehe, excellent and i know how you feel.
I wonder is thiere anybody that actually loves their job?
I'm sure there is... how about those people that get paid to travel all over the world and find the best places to go? If they don't love that job I would gladly take it off of their hands.

You are more than welcome to it
BUt if you travelled alot you wouldnt be able to plant roots, see people you love on a regular basis. Some down sides to it too.
A lot of travelling definitely has its downsides. My boss spends more time on planes than anywhere else. No friends, no real family life...
I like the job I am doing right now. It is interesting, challenging in various ways, I work with people who are based all over the world. My office is in Germany, my boss's office is in France and he travels most of the time. I get to travel from time to time - not too much, just right...
So - I might complain about my boss from time to time but all in all I really like my job!
I think you all misunderstood me... I'm not talking about flying from meeting to meeting... I'm talking about the people on the travel channel or PBS that just travel around and explore new places, eat new food, meet new people, learn about different cultures... I'd take that job in a heart beat.
But still, JP, you'd be travelling most of the time. For a while, I would like that - but it would really interfere with my private life.
That's cool Urs, I can understand that... as long as I can take my wife with me I'd be happy for a good while though.
What would you like to do?
I would have to take my husband and our two cats! Then I'd be fine! :-)
The main thing I would like to change in my present job is some of my boss's behaviour. All in all, he is a nice guy. But sometimes I could really kick him... Oh well, I have been working as an assistant for about 20 years now. I have not yet found the perfect boss! ;-)

I'd take my husband and we could go and travel for years. See everything. I'd just come back home once a year or so to see my parents.

I second that. I figure there are so many places I want to go see that the only way I'd be able to see them all is if I got paid to do it.
This is how my job makes me feel...
I hope that cat is just sleeping....
