Aren't they great! That we don't see Iraquis in this light on TV is part of the evil of war and of the present media. God knows how much the major networks are spending right now on punchy graphics, or how many bean counters are licking their lips at the thought of the ratings bonanza the war will be (thus the ad dollars they can generate). But they aren't about to send a cameraman and reporter to Bagdhad to show Iraquis as humans having fun. And how many Americans want to see that anyway? Easier for many to just think of war as a chess game or as a fight between the darkness and the light.
