i have been trying to find the correct way of writing 'grey wolf' or 'silver wolf' in latin but i am very rusty. any help appreciated.
grey wolf = canus lupus
silver wolf = argenteus lupus
Are you trying to make a joke in latin?
(Lupus canities)...
Not intentionally.
Lupus is the Latin word for wolf and canus is the Latin word
for grey.
What is lupus canities?
a wolf with grey (aged) hair.
not a joke - thought it would be a great screen name considering i am grey and a wolf!
how about ravus lupus?
still a joke :
latin for a wolf = canis lupus
see here :
Canis lupus
"Canis" is Latin for "dog".
"Lupus" is Latin for "wolf".
"Canus" is Latin for "grey".
George, life is not that easy!
