Hello, I was hoping someone here could provide an accurate translation of the phrase "What we do in life echoes in eternity".
The consensus thus far via online translators (I know, not the best sources) seems to be "Quod nos facimus, in vita resonat in aeternum".
Please let me know if this is correct. This is part of a gift to a man, if that makes a difference.
Thank you for your time,
Robert
@Lopaka,
People here who know their latin are pretty sharp, but they are not here all the time every day. Patience..
I used to know my latin but a lot of years have passed.
@Lopaka,
Lopaka wrote:"Quod nos facimus, in vita resonat in aeternum".
That is not wrong, but I would drop "nos" as redundant and change the word
order.
Quod in vita facimus in aeternum resonat
@George,
Thank you so much George, that's exactly the expert fine-tuning I was hoping for.
