I've totally given up on UPS ever delivering packages to my apartment. As soon as I hear they have the package, I inform them that I'll pick it up at the bloody warehouse.

Me too. Small problem here. I can't pick it up because it's on the truck. The truck is on the road. The driver won't know of the request till tomorrow, at which time he will be on the road again, and probably claiming to have attempted to deliver it again.

So wide spread is the problem that Amazon has designated pick up points in some areas. Also, many websales from the normal chains allow in store pickup. I order shipment to my PO Box. Only a few shippers refuse to comply. I then try to find the same item from a different vendor.

I don't think that UPS even bothers to try to deliver most of my packages as at least 3 out 4 packages, they don't even bother to leave a ticket until the alleged last attempt. They're supposed to leave a ticket after each attempt (including the first).

I don't have a middle name. Only the initial 'V'. Sure as God made little green apples, they recorded that as Roger V(only). Verbally, they lost the ( ). Sometimes, trying to explain is not a good use of one's time, especially in basic training.

No, it was the economy. My parents couldn't afford a middle name, but were able to scrap up enough for a letter. They did the best they could.
