Actually there should be no problem with CO2. It is one of the few gases that will absorb into a liquid when the liquid is cold, just refrigerate it for a couple of hours.
I wonder why I have to have my morning coffee. That's the first thing I do after getting up in the morning. That's been a habit since I was in the USAF in the late fifties. When I was stationed at Walker AFB in Roswell, New Mexico, I was the one who made that big pot of coffee.
Ha! I knew some kids who got in trouble for not calling home from their grandparent's house, but they got off by saying they had a rotary phone (they didn't know it's called that) and they didn't know how it works.
