To speak Cantonese is beyond me. But since I do listen to Cantonese songs, for there are lots there if you want to listen, and they are popular among the youth. "Happy new year" is sound like this in Pinyin: sin1 nan2 hou2. That is actually not Pinyin, just use the sound to spell it. Because it is hard to express it in Pinyin, for the pronunciation is not the same as Pinyin, only similar. If you want more words comes with it. I can't.
