Anybody know? I discontinued risperidon two months ago. I have not had any psychotic symptoms. I believe my schizoaffective disorder is in remission. However can risperidon continue to have an effect two months after taking it? I took it for 4 years. Really need to know.

Did you stop taking your medication under a doctor's orders, or on your own initiative?
If your doctor does not know you stopped taking your meds, tell him or her as soon as you can.
