Ey!
I've been searching the web for an aramaic translation of the phrase "God is my strength" and i couldn't find one. I was wondering if any of you guys could help me. Thanks.
Merry Christmas!
well, my aramiac is a little rusty, but that should be - "rah'mana hoo koh'i". that may be with a little bit of hebrew mixed in, but I think its right... By the way, the only people that still know aramiac are whoever made the last aramaic movie, orthodox jews, and some tribesmen in the mountain of Curdistan (or somewhere around there). I'm of the second group...
by the way, h' = a hard h
TY mosheb!
Thanks a lot!
This is a great help...but i've been thinking that if i'm gonna get an aramaic tattoo...it might be better to go where it all started...might take a trip to israel or something like that.
hehehe...
english to arameic translation
this is going to sound wierd but could someone translate the phrase 'The Order of the Cat's Cradle' for me?
Aramaic translation
There are several words for strong/strength in the Semitic languages, each with separate nuances. You must be specific unless you are looking to make some sort of indellible joke. There is an Aramaic translation of the Bible, so perhaps you could start by looking at Exodus 17:12 or Psalms 24:8. If either of these - or any others - are what you mean, we could take the translation from there.
