The company find a growth of 10% in topline.
What does the topline mean? And how to translate it into Chinese?
What is "side aperture" in automobile English ?
I'm not sure what topline means, but I believe "side aperture" would be a car window.

Maybe the little vent...if Chinese cars still have them...
Top line might mean before costs...as opposed to bottom line

Doesn't make sense when you think of where bottom line comes from, but I don't have a better suggestion.

If you want some examples, just visit this site. In every paragraph, there is a sentense with "topline" and "bottomline" in it. And they are all about some banks. Thank you all for your help.

Reading this I have determined that Panzade is correct.
Quote:
The bank's core business has, however, shown improvement in the form of growth in net interest income. For 2QFY05, while the bank has reported a 7% rise in the topline, the bottomline has turned negative. Lower provisioning and a tax writeback has ensured that the bank's losses were limited in the September quarter.
The topline would be income.
