We often say 'well done". But "good done"? What does it mean? Google shows 53,000 hits for "good done". For example:
Good Done: Collection of heroes
saves the day. ... Villians Present: Black Knight, Electron, Keeper and Black Jaguar
[Quick Strike]. Good Done: Quick Strike was driven back to home dimension.
"well done" can stand alone, but "good done" is part of a sentence.
i.e.
Don't undo the good done by affirmative action.
Thanks.
But I knew that before posting the thread.
Could you explain " Good Done: Quick Strike was driven back to home dimension"? Since the "Good Done" stands alone there.
It looks like some sort of illiterate internet game-speak to me, Oristar. Beware!
The misuse of "good" and "well" is extremely common among native English speakers! The usage is simple, so you should make sure you understand it because many people pick up on this particular thing and will think less of you for using it improperly.
