first and totally off topic (although one can assume where i'm leading at there, hi modos;)), how do you decide whether a topic deserves to get "featured", meaning it keeps showing on top of the list?

wouldn't be a good idea to draw a list of words/expressions that differ in english and in american (aussie, scot, irish and such can join the fiesta too)?

i'd really like to be able to speak and write both languages (for comic relief and personal interest).

what words/sentences would immediately make your discussion partner think "hey, you're a brit/american!" ?
