I love quotes. I use them everywhere. Fear them.
Marilyn Manson uses that in one of his songs, but he changes the words a little bit, he says "The death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic", but yeah, I just remembered that, so I figured I'd post something, just for the hell of it.
ok...to move on...is it fair that a wealth school should have to have its students buy their own supplies, trips, etc., because theri money has been sent to a poor school, that is then able to buy that stuff for their students.
i didnt bother to read all the posts... but in reference to one at the top: a arguement against equalization is that you are making people pay for another childs education. which is easy enough to prove. robert nozick believed redistributive action by the gov. to be unjust. thats the way im going for neg. we had robin hood down here, and that seemed brilliant but its not, but now we dont know how to fund schools, so to talk about equalization is just insane. i wanna refuse to debate it, but i wanna go to UIL state... cuz i dont get to go to TFA state
Someone was talking about find evidence saying that money make good education well i have been looking for evidence that says that but i could find it so if u could plz tell me where u found it.
Did anyone attend the Mount Pleasant UIL tournament, if so holla back at me and describe in less than 40 words how awesome it was. . . o yea it was awesome indeed.
im a newbie
hello, im a newbie to debate and i was wondering if you could help me out with my topic...the funding for texas schools one. thanks and reply soon
i could really go either way, both sides hav a piont
the rich hav the right to refuse to pay for sumone elses education, they are working hard to their kids through school and get them a good education. thats not to say that the poor are doomed to be poor tho, if the students are willing to work hard enough to get themselves out of the situation that they are in, there are many scholorships out there to fund them and help them get into colleges to make a better life for themselves. in fact their really better off if theve worked twice as hard as lets say a rich, less motivated child. this way weve got r ich bussiness owners who can hire hard working intelligent people, who eventually work their way up to management. who in turn can provide their child a better education then they got. so here there is no vicious cylce of poor getting poorer and rich getting richer.
im not quite sure that made any sense, but there u go. in any case since i aslo will be debating this topic, if hear these word verbatum. i will know who u are so watch it.lol. kidding
those words verbatum don't make too much sense, but i get and agree with the gist.
hello
i am trying to write more than one case and what are a good value and a good criterion for an aff case. My aff right now is value-altruism and criterion-distributive justice. Help me come up with another value and criterion

Chris, we tend to be a bit more courteous in our interaction on this forum than you have thus far demonstrated.
Do you have something you'd like to say regarding the topic?
