Is it normal to see jugular vein and its pulsation when lying down?

When I'm lying down the jugular vein on the right side of my neck bulges out and pulses visibly, while the jugular vein on the left side of my neck doesn't pulse or bulge out at all. Is this normal or should I go to a doctor?

Young male? It probably is normal, but you should see your doctor to get reassurance.
