Sometimes animals, especially dogs, will warn their masters of impending danger.
Folks, let's remember that Pompeii and its destruction occurred in 79 AD. Any evidence of animals domesticated or wild would not be relevant. The tsunami has been recently. I started a thread about animals and their sixth sense covering that particular situation.
