Thank you cav,

I'm an -ism.That's the epitome of literary endevour.

I still think that having the operative word last will provide discipline and thus, according to Lola,an improvement in skill and thus humour. But I defer to your veteran status.

Paroxysm-a sudden involuntary bodily movement often accompanied by a ****.

CPDism-a sad state of expensive complacency in dire need of a generous dumping of ****.

I like your style spendius. Off to the dentist soon, hopefully no surgery will be involved. I'll pop in later.

All this time I thought Chris de Burgh was singing about Tennessee, and it was "The Lady Inbred."

cav:-

You could be right.

I've never heard of the singer or the song.I just asked somebody here for the soppiest romantic clapbottle that might be played in romantic milieux.
Sorry if I almost confused you.

spendius, it's a horrible horrible song. I have heard rumours that repeated playing of it at top volume was one of the torture methods used at Abu Graibh.

cav;-

I can well believe it.We can hope that if Mr de Burgh gets to heaven they'll play it to him for all eternity.I do prefer Satan's tunes myself.
