The ones that make you laugh the loudest?

i don't think thats always the case. sometimes you can laugh inwardly louder than you laugh outwardly.

Here's how you tell which jokes are the funniest:

Stand up in front of a couple of hundred strangers, in your head is ten minutes of solid comedy, joke after joke, setup stinger punchline.

Okay, tap the mike once while they are still applauding your entrance,

do not say "Is this on?"

Tell the nice people the jokes.
If you can manage not to die of agony because the 'dishwasher bit' bombs but go on to do the 'Sunscreen 4000' and the 'nose stuffed with Kleenex on a first date.' bits and receive some nice laughs and you kill at the end with the 'my mother said I should always have one of these on.' bit, and leave the stage somehow and stumble on your quaking knees out to the bar area where a guy named Ockie says you did good you might be able to tell :

The funniest ones are the ones where you have to wait for them to stop applauding before you can go on to the next one.

The unfunny ones drop into an abyss of darkness and silence
followed closely therein by you.
