who is the audience?

speaking as a US citizen
the domestic and international arguements , (justfications) are quite different

and are we playing devil's advocate here
are the arguments as presented by the government?
or am I supposed to be a neutral party, with some sot of baseline of accepted values?

the justfications under international law varied quite a bit (or simply didnt apply)
