My model groomer is my two dog's groomer.

First she washes them. Then she puts them in the drying bin. When dry, she puts them on her grooming table. She puts a leash on them so they can't jump off. Then she combs and brushes, shaves and cuts. Then she puts a bandana around their necks.

Finally, they rest in a cage until I pick them up.

Sounds pretty good for men, too.

Ahh, don't bother trimming. The humour value of seeing your woman spit out pubes is worth it. It's like watching a cat cough up a furball. Disgusting, but pretty funny as well. Seriously, if you need to trim, just keep it neat, you don't need to shave down completely.
