I was going to say that it might have been because of the Brontë sisters. I like those names too.

Personally, I don't want children, but I like the names Avariella and Myrilla for girls.

Ferd is a cool name for a boy.

For a girl, you can't go wrong with Edna.

My wife is Chinese and I am of Irish descent. We decided we would give our kids Celtic first names and Chinese middle names.

When we were expecting our first, we at first thought of Rory if it were a boy. We later decided against it since that name would be next-to-impossible for my mother-in-law and father-in-law to pronounce.

Still like the name, though.

For a girl, Siobhan.

I like Siobhan, but I named my girl Caitlin... I also like Aoife. Part of the problem, Americans could never pronounce either of them!
