Oh! Did it work Walter, or is it still too premature to tell?

Pooh, SerSo, what a bummer. You come all the way to London and you can't leave the hotel? Sorry to hear that. Your countrymen who made James Bond's life so difficult were not so constrained. Smile

Who says I am not going to leave the hotel? I will only sleep there.

I am not a tourist and have a tough working schedule with a long list of names to meet. Do you have any slightest idea what it will look like? Do you think I can quit business negotiations just saying: "I have a rendezvous now, try to express yourself in signs until I return"? It would be a real pantomime!

Yes, do tell them precisely that. Tell them that you have a social engagement that takes precedence, or arrange for another interpretor to substitute for you.

Checking in to say I continue enjoying the Europe meeting vicariously. I'll be glad to see photos of people when they show up, but I appreciate the long time a2k courtesy of asking people for permission and/or to review them before posting.

You may be taking my artless remarks a little too seriously, but I hope not.
Remember the old British dictum: "Work is the curse of the drinking classes."
Best wishes, McT

Must surely, you'll have caught up with the latest by SMS's, bd.

But we had a nice night, staying in the restaurant of the Hotel Jonathan. (And "of course": it was sunny, when we we re back here, like it is sunny NOW!)

We had a wonderful time in Münster yesterday even thought is was raining almost all day. But who cares with this crowd :-)

Once again, I am amazed that all the A2Kers I have met so far are just wonderful, interesting people. No doubt, it is worth to drive through half of Germany to meet them!

But next time I do want to have BigDice by my side. We will work on that...
