Really enjoyed your post Thomas. You are right of course everyone was so well behaved and polite, but maybe by the time everyone knows each a little better next week the stories will be more exciting. Here's hoping....

I enjoyed yours too -- we do have to put you on posting duty more often!

(And just in case anybody who wasn't there might be wondering: Dys is exactly the funny, interesting, thoughtful guy he appears to be online. He is also extremely fun to exchange playful insults with, which is what Francis and I are doing here. His occasional attempts to appear evil have all failed as utterly in real life as they have online. So if anything we say about him here comes across to non-participants as anything even close to a real complaint, it comes across the opposite of the intended way. Just making sure Smile )

ooooh, this is good.

love the stories that are starting to appear.

i know there is more.

Saturday in New York, we were marvelling at the fact that there were two A2K gatherings happening the same weekend - both set in motion by Dys and Diane's travels (though only one getting the benefit Sad )

Oh! One of my most descriptive posts is missing!

It was about an ethereal person I made acquaintance with living with some dreg of humanity... Laughing

Could you supply a link to these, please, if possible?

Give a little time, I've 225 pictures and I want to PM each of A2Ker on it if they allow me to show it.

In between, I'm going allow myself this one :

It's true, Francis has a large square black growth on his nose.

Didn't stop him flirting with all the ladies though Laughing

You surely are aware I know nothing about this :

"All you ever wanted to know about the fine art of flirting!"

The interesting (?) stuff is in the last 10 or so pages. Unless the mad posters have been at it again.

Polite...eveyone's so polite.

You lot obviously need the input of some good basic Aussie common sense, riddled with insults, to get your juices moving. What sort of insult is that "cheese-eating surrender monkey" thing? Jeez! Wink

And, apart from that black growth thing, I see Francis does have another ear - who knew!?

The red thing is a slice of tomato baked on to a bread roll (baked along with the bread). Very artistic.

Just back from the airport.

The meeting was quite nice, but I missed A2K

Did someone mention already that they stopped the traffic in front of the pub on Sunday and some streets due to our meeting? (Well, someone must have tolld them on Stauryday that these anarchists wanted to return there.)

Piffka, have walked around Greenwich today (Ros, Steve and I stayed in a flat in Canary Wharf with view on the Thames), but since you posted a pic of the meridian already, I didn't photograph that  .

My photos will be posted on Wednesday, since I photograph in the old fashioned way with an analog camera.
