Walter

Nice to see you've put some distance between your place and those undesirable travellers!

Make them walk, I say!

Walter, can you book me a couple (at least) of nights in the Jonathan? Even if I buy the campervan, that looks a real bargain and more comfortable. It would be good to meet URS too!

I've looked in the thread but can't seem to find where and when you're meeting in London. All I know is something about Cheshire and the first weekend.

Has anything specific been arranged? I'd like to come if I can.

Yo, Tarah
Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese is an historick pubbe in Fleet Street.
It was rebuilt in 1667 so I reckon the cellars must be older than that. The Great Fire must have burned the top off. Last time we went, we met in the cellar bar.

Thanks McTag. I guess there's not a specific day and time arranged yet.

Tarah,

I think Sunday 1st May is the prime candidate for meeting. If it's the Cheshire Cheese, that will have to be a lunchtime gathering, as it's not open in the evening on Sundays.

In that case, I'm pretty sure I can be there.

Be great to see you, McTag and Mrs McTag again as well as other members.

Clary, Walter is gone for a couple of days. So don't worry that he does not answer right away... He'll be back :-)

So you are coming to Germany, too? Great!

Yes, I think I will, I like travelling at that time of year, and I have various friends to visit en route. Always good to have an objective when travelling Smile

LOL Walter.

Tarah, we look forward to meeting you. Any chance of coming to Germany or Holland? C.i., Dys and I are meeting in Amsterdam in between London and Germany to see the tulip festival and, hopefully, to meet nimh.

For me, this is a dream come true. I've only been to Europe once, for a long weekend in London. That was just a teaser, making me want to come back. Now, here I come with Dys! YAY!
