Frankie Howerd was never that nimble.

@centrox,
Kenneth Williams can wait until after the prologue.

@centrox,
You're not clever because I picked up on your reference? Thanks a bloody bunch.

No, I'm not clever because I misremembered the infamy reference, thinking it was Howerd in Up Pompeii when it was Williams in Carry On Cleo. Incidentally, Howerd could try to get very chummy with young (male) stage hands, apparently.

@centrox,
For a minute I thought you were using me as a benchmark for what thick people understand.

Howerd's closeted homosexuality got in the way of some gags. In the film he's talking to camera when a naked woman walks past behind him. Howerd then pretends to respond to the audience and looks round to see said naked women only to see a naked man. He then complains that he couldn't miss that.

I meant, "There was me, thinking I was being so clever by just posting 'Infamy...' when it wasn't Howerd at all."

@centrox,
It would make a nice change, most of my mates view me as some sort of encyclopaedia and expect me to know everything about everything.

Lots of my colleagues pretend to think that I know everything. Especially about bloody spreadsheets. I decided it's not because they think I'm clever, it's because they are lazy.
