hes up for parole in 2006.

He's been up for parole a bunch of times. That's the only news I ever hear about him. Up for parole, denied parole.

He could be wondering if Scott Peterson will become one of his cell mates.

Actually, he is up for parole again in 2007. He just had a birthday on November 12. He's 70 years old now believe it or not. He spent some time at the Vacaville State Prison Mental Institution (a little too close to my residence methinks), but I believe now he is back at Corcoran State Prison in California and has been for awhile.

He never showed up at his last parole hearing in 2002 (his 10th time) because he wanted to attend unshackled and the prison refused to let the handcuffs off.

I guess books and cd's are still selling....go figure.

Would there be any point farmerman in paroling him? He's been in jail almost constantly since he was about 12 years old and he must be about 70, I cant imagine him fitting into society after all that time.

When I've seen him on various TV documentaries over the years you can tell by the way he talks that he really believes himself to be a guru.

He still doesn't seem to think he did anything wrong and with the attitude that he has of preaching to people, I think parole is a tad unlikely.

Id love to see him paroled, with the proviso that hed have to live in S La. or in Bayonne NJ. Poor guy wouldnt last a day .

I'm actually somewhat surprised that he has survived in prison for as long as he has. That he hasn't become a victim of another inmate at one time or another. Granted, he has spent a good amount of time in The Hole and hasn't always been accessible to the general population, but he has been out there....
