English to Latin Translation

I have designed my own tattoo, and would like to add one line in Latin (I know, what a cliche).

Now, if there's one thing I learned in 4 years of Latin classes at school, then it's to NEVER trust any automatic translations (google, etc.), since Latin words can have so many meanings depending on context.

So, here I am, asking for your advice (instead of having my skin foreverly imprinted with something gibberish):

I would like to use the words "TRUE KNOWLEDGE".
I believe that honest, deep, true knowledge creates everything from humility to love and appreciation. Knowledge for me here also means skill, craft, art; maybe even character. This is why I was thinking about the word "ars, artis", but I wanted to hear your opinion first.

If possible, maybe someone can give me singular and plural version?
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions.

Best,
Theresa

@TheresaB,
I like your choice of the word ars.

ARS VERA -- singular
ARTES VERAE -- plural
