i am seeking information about peyronies...my good friend thinks he has it but is embarrassed to go see a doctor. Through online research, what ive basically found is that its a curvature of the penis. Im a nurse at a doctors office specializing in urology but i dont know barely anything about this particular disorder. What hes worried about though is if it will make him infertile and will it be painful for his girlfriend. He has shown it to me when he initially told me about this and its not an extreme curve but it is more then the normal curvature of the penis
Peyronie's Syndrome
Peyronie's Syndrome is due to the thickenning if the skin on one side of the shaft of the penis, causing curvature. It does not affect fertility or erections unless the curve bcomes acute. An operation to correct can be done but it can recur. Most men live with this condition quite happily, a loving partner will understand and a 'bend' in the penis from a womans point of view......is pleasant!
