Hi,
Recently, when I prepare the document for my company and I found a prize letter. In this letter, there is a paragraph looks like this:
"XXXX company will not take any responsibility for lost Prize Letters or if the, and we will not replace Prize Letters if it is lost, stolen, destroyed or for any other reason."
because English is not my first language and this is the first time i see something like "if the, and" is this correct? I really get confused by this , so I am here asking help.
@garethjxc,
It's the first time I ever saw anything like that too. It's a mistake!
It should say:
"XXXX company will not take any responsibility for lost Prize Letters, and we will not replace Prize Letters if they are lost, stolen, destroyed or for any other reason."
It's still not great. It's a very awkward sentence.
