He said the dumpster diving videos on youtube are fake. Its not. Im one myself and found working ps3 games, turtle beach headphones for xbox 360 which work, unexpired food, etc. He said I have no proof. He said people on youtube plant the stuff 😠

@singlesucks13,
I found a whole lot of stuff in condo dumpsters over the years. At least twenty sets of golf clubs and bags. Found a bag 30 of watches (cheap Timex and China replicas), record collections, dvds, unused kitchen appliances, two virus infected HP wifi laptops that were restorable (I am using one now), a lot of unopened wine bottles, film cameras, digital cameras, etc., Being a volunteer recycler, I have access to the dumpster rooms where tenants unload their usable stuff.

@centrox,
When I was little I came across half a bottle of pepsi with a screwtop lid. My mother told me not to touch it because a dog may have weed in it. I never knew dogs were that clever, or malicious.

When I was little my mum told me never to go in the toilets in Brockwell Park because "nasty men" went in there. I told my pal and we hung about behind a bush to watch. Imagine my surprise when I saw the bloke from the paper shop and, later one of our teachers go in there.

My mum refused to say whether or not the bloke from the paper shop and the teacher were nasty men.

@centrox,
If they were doing what I think they were doing, namely weeing in half bottles of pepsi, screwing the lid back on and blaming it on some poor dog, then they definitely were nasty men.

I found out exactly what some people did in there, when I was a bit older, because they helpfully wrote all about it on the walls (and doors) of the cubicles, sometimes adding illustrations of varying degrees of crudity.

Perhaps the writing style lacked some of the elegance of Dickens.

One story was an account that started like this: "I am 16 with fair hair and blue eyes. Last weekend we had family to stay, and because our house is small, my cousin had to share my bed. He is 20 and was on leave from the Merchant Navy..." It started about 4 ft from the floor and carried on downwards for about 2 feet over numerous paragraphs. Some other people had added sketches to accompany it, and also similar reminiscences. What it lacked in style it made up for in vividness of description.

@centrox,
I don't really have such magical childhood memories.
