Walter mein Freund

Doubleganger is not a German word. And the correct English word is doppelganger. Wink

I keep it in the box with abseil, rucksac, zeigeist, wanderlust and weltanschauung.

I just thought: I'l be coming from old Cheshire to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese.
I'll leave about eleven, drive down the M1, get to the brother's about three, get on my tuxedo and my kilt, and sally forth on the Tube.
I'm enjoying myself already. Ich freue mich schon darueber.

See yah

McT

(with the kilt and a few songs I can make the price of a drink in the Tube on the way to the gig! You know it makes sense.)

Brilliant idea, McTag ('working' in the tube, I mean):
now I really should think of getting dressed in my dirndl as well

However, I do think, my best chances are using my car then [and I'll pay the "London-entrance-fee"!]

Hey that Bavarian bird is not sitting on the rock. Somebody's given her a little stool to sit on, I'll bet.

Being away for the day to delight a) my mother and b) mother in law, I just want to add that I usually don't wear dirndls, that I'm usuall shy, behave with integrity and discretion and keep my mouth shut - as to be seen here and on other threads.

Update of my arrangements:

My wife Fiona has read the thread and doesn't want to be left out! She has decided to come along with me and will come along to the pub- so book us two seats at the restaurant please, Gautam!

Carole will not be coming, she has a small baby to look after and regretfully declined.

Looking forward to seeing you all........
