Well, I've booked the hotel at Piccadilly - I think it's the same one that c.i. used. It's cheap and the location is good - so it can't be all bad.

I'm sure I've stayed in worse!

A belated thank you for your long and fulsome reply Margo to my nosey question. Sounds like you are going to have a busy but fun time. I know that Gautam and Pete will show you a good time.

I have been so busy these last couple weeks with work and social events.
I was down in London Heathrow briefly last week on a freebie with work. We were all taken for a day out to Windsor (Castle), Henley and environs. we flew down and then hired a people carrier to get about. We had a Great day

My brother invited me to an event in Worcester run by the Ivor Gurney Society. It was not something I would normally go to - poetry readings and then a song recital of his and others English songs, but it was a really interesting and enjoyable day.

Off out for a coffee and chat with a friend so buy for now!
