Why would Ashcroft leave? He can't be unhappy with the Patriot Act. He got the boobs draped. He got to sing about eagles soaring. He even got to fly privately, rather than commercially as had been the case, pre- 9/11.
What could his reason for leaving be?

I seem to remember her saying on one of the sunday shows that she wants to go back to teaching. I may however,be mistaken.
