I keep reading he's quitting.....how in God's name will they find someone even more to the right than Ashcroft?
um maybe that Graham guy (son of billy)
It cannot get worse than Ashcroft - stop!
They could recruit Pat Buchanan, yikes!
My bet...Rudy Gulliani. He has the necessary credentials, and I doublt he was knocking himself out with the Bush campaign just for kicks.
How about Zell Miller? He's already stated publicly that he'd lke to bring back duels.....now that's a bush man!!!!!

Rudy! .... Rudy! .... Rudy!
I am wondering who is going to replace condi and why she might be leaving. I am kind of shocked that her name was even mentioned as those who might be leaving.

Quote:Names mentioned as possibly leaving or changing positions include Secretary of State Colin Powell, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, Attorney General John Ashcroft, Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge and Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson.
As for Rudy, he won't be so bad for a bush guy. A whole lot better than ashcroft.
With Condoleezza leaving there will be only one lonley
brain cells left at the White House.
Rudi is an option, but he wasn't very well liked before
9/11 and frankly I think he's a character sw***
I have only heard Rice is staying but changing positions.....and why not? Her knees must be aching by now......
man that was uncalled for....irresistable though....a crime of opportunity....forgive me..... I was just kidding around.....what's that sound outside the house.....helico......
It might of been uncalled for, but funny for all that. Maybe Karen Hughes will come back and relieve her knees.
Now I am feeling guilty only I am not worried about helicopters, lightening is more my worry.
While Giuliani isn't as extreme as Ashcroft, he has no sense of proportion. We rarely think much about what he did as mayor of NY pre-9/11, but some of his crusades were bizarre. One example was his effort to stop the city's art museums from displaying art that offended his Catholic sensibilities.
That's the Rudy we'd be likely to see as Attorney General...
It's art, dude. Not intended, I'm sure, to appeal to everyone.

A Madonna in urine is "art" worthy of display in taxpayer funded museums?
well it's not the on velvet type of masterpiece to be found hanging in mid western trailer parks....but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder is it not?

And usually with a matching throw rug in the same brilliant colors.
