Yes, it's tough to distinguish the passionate from the activist volunteer or paid flunky. I've been accused of being Terry McCauliffe. But this case seems pretty clear cut.

Or just folk who went kinda nutso about the election?

Since their droppings only really attracted the flies (such as myself) who hang round politics - and since most politics folk have their own clear views, and given the small gene pool, and the fact that folk who DID use threads here to help make up their minds would naturally choose reasonable debate threads, rather than troll dumps, I would think it a strategy (having operatives here and other sites) with little chance of impact.

I think the chances that our community includes 'operatives' hanging about and arguing to be almost zilch.
