Hurry!
Flip to CSPAN, the talking heads couldn't keep their mouths shut
There's prolly only one celeb out there who's endorsement and support carries any weight at all. And he sure as hell ain't somebody you'd rather have anywhere other than on your side :nrgreen:
Arnold tore it up... and Bush sounds as good as he has this season.
I missed it. What was it, a press conference or a campaign stop?
Still on CSPAN FreeDuck... Bush is speaking now.
If Ohio is watching... Bush will win there.
I love Ahnold! He is so straightfoward, says what he feels and is no BS from what I have seen yet here in California. Soooo much better than that last guy we had....hmmm...what's his name again? Oh yeah...(Lack of) Grey (Matter) Davis. That's it.
Arnold is the bomb. Larger than life living monument to the American dream.

OCCOM BILL, even with that cheese thingy on your head, I knew there was something about you I liked!
I had to laugh when Bush said, "We have a lot in common. We both married well. We both have problems speaking the English Language... and we both have big biceps!...
Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad."

Dang...there are times when I really do miss having television!!
Back when it came out, what ... mid-'70s? ... my brother and I went to see "Pumping Iron". We were both pretty much into body buildin' and martial arts and other macho-ness. Both of us were big R. E. Howard fans too, read all the Conan The Barbarian books ... could quote passages from 'em by heart. Anyhow, Ahnold is on screen, looking all Aryan Superman and talking in that thick Austrian accent, and my bro nudges me and says "Damn ... that's Conan, ain't it?" I had to agree.
Obviously, somebody else made the connection, too.
I hadn't heard of Conan before Arnold did him. I do remember envisioning his image when I read Beowulf.
What's with the rolling eyes Montana?
Being in California myself, I am very surprised at how popular Arnold has become out here.
Initially he seemed to be somewhat of a lightweight, and I thought he would fade away (as much as that is possible while being governor) in a short time.
But.....
He has shown that he has a lot of clout with the voters still; it will be interesting to see where his backing/opposing various state propositions and candidates will fall next week.
Amazing. You guys obviously have no problem with a man who smoked dope, groped women, and campaigned on the theme of no special interests when he is now catering to special interests.
Hyprocrisy, neoconservative style.
