Here is the easy part:

1/14 4:30 pm---Washington @ Seattle
1/14 8:00 pm---New England @ Denver

1/15 1:00 pm---Pittsburgh @ Indianapolis
1/15 4:30 pm---Carolina @ Chicago

Make your picks in those four games.
But then you must immdiately move on. The winners of the first two
games play each other and the winners of the second two games face off.
Who will come out victorious there? Will you still have a team in the chase?
Tired yet? I hope not, because then it will be Super Bowl Weekend. Which, if any, of your teams, will be left standing? And how many total points will be scored?

Here is a sample ballot:
WASHINGTON beats Seattle
NEW ENGLAND beats Denver
PITTSBURGH beats Indianapolis
CAROLINA beats Chicago
and then
WASHINGTON beats New England
PITTSBURGH beats Carolina
concluding with the Super Bowl
WASHINGTON beats Pittsburgh (27 points in total scored)

Get it all right and this trophy will be yours, all yours, until next January.

Wait a minute.
Aren't you mixing AFC and NFC teams in the second round?

George, I very well could be. I sent pms to Panzade and to Region confessing that I don't know squat about the NFL and asking for help with the schedule. Did they respond? Nooooooo. I would appreciate your help. Thanks. We will start over once I figure out who is playing whom.

In truth, Region did respond. I was too dense to digest it. Is this any better?

1/14 4:30 pm --- NFC----Washington @ Seattle
1/14 8:00 pm --- AFC----New England @ Denver
1/15 1:00 pm --- AFC----Pittsburgh @ Indianapolis
1/15 4:30 pm --- NFC----Carolina @ Chicago

1/22 NFC Playoff: Wash/Seattle vs Carolina/Chicago
1/22 AFC Playoff: NE/Denver vs Pittsburgh/Indy

2/5 Superbowl: AFC vs NFC

Am I coming close on this being right. I really don't know much about football.

Those are your choices. I apologize for the mis-posting earlier about who would play whom. The schedule above seems to have the Panzade seal of approval as being accurate.

Fbaezer and Liontamerx neglected to predict the total number of points that will be scored in the Super Bowl. Please drop that in. Thanks.

I was at a Bruin's game when Ulf Samuelsson was absolutely leveled
and had to be helped off the ice. Laughed myself silly.

7 pickers so far (including johnboy, who has chosen but not yet posted). Thanks, jpinmilw, for resubmitting. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

My spreadsheet only has room for 12 players. I see that Kicky started a thread to talk about the Superbowl. There are folks there that are not here. I am going trolling for them. Some of yall may end up having to share a column with a stranger or (gasp) Gus if I can lure him back. I just thought I would warn you.
